Cloning

I just learned about cloning. Animals that are cloned usually lose half of their life because the nucleus is old when they clone. It is cruel what they do to the animals. With out pain medication they remove the spinal cord and try to clone the animal. I do belive however that cloning can be needed for help in diabetes and other health issues but they could use less cruel ways. I am sure you have heard about Dolly the sheep. Her clone died after a few years (earlier than any other average sheep) and had athritis. It isn’t a safe way of what they are doing and before they make animals lose years on their lives why don’t they test them other ways first.

Zoo Elephants

An amazing fact is that elephants in zoo’s live a longer then ones in the wild, like 20 years (approx). Isn’t that horrible? I mean we keep these animals in small boxes and expect them to be healthy. Come on. What kind of people our we? I never understood the point of zos. I mean they just keep free animals from living life are supposed to have. We are just taking away their freedom and 20 years is alot to lose. I think zoo’s are one of many things hitting our economy finacially. They are taking peoples money adn thenkilling animals earlier. Perfect sense huh? If you have never thought about zoo’s and how they torture animals, consider it now? And think why? Why innocent animals should have valuable animals taken awayf rom their life?

The Under Water Life is in Danger

Just a few days ago The SupremeCourt refused a law helping under water animals protection. Is that what we’ve come too? Where even the most trusted law enforcers are not helping animals. The law said that the whales and other water life would be protected from the Navy’s sonars while anti-submarines practice war off the southern coast. This law saying the animals would be protected, did not pass. So, those animals are no longer watched over while this “practice” is occurring. Why, I ask you, would the Supreme court refuse this law? Because they say that the law would lower the effectivenessrate for the exercises. It’s animals lives. Is that what we want! People turning their backs to animals while shooting under water blasters which can permanentlyhurt animals. It’s horrible and needs to be stopped. Results for Prop. 2

I would like to post the results for Prop. 2. It won!!! We did it! We didn’t let those animal torturers get us down. Not only did we win, we kicked butt. We won by a good amount. I guess people thought saving animals lives and not sticking them in cages was a priority. Finally, guys!!! I hope all the animal cruelty stuff goes uphill from here. Maybe, a propositon on stopping animal testing would nessessary? Maybe not? All I know is we started a soon to be revolution. Good job guys!!!

Prop 2.

This proposition is very important to this blog. Because that prop. is what you and I can are fighting for. The proposition is based on the reality of letting animals spread their wings or move their wings in their own space. The other side is that it would be expensive, but the point is: How much do these animals lives mean to you? If only a penny, vote no on prop. 2, but if you are willing to watch hundreds of animals live and feel comfortable, vote yes on prop 2. Look that one over for yourself. Animals lives are in our hands. Why waste a life? We have the power, use it wisely.

P.E.T.A.

For my birthday I had all my guests donate all the money that they would have spent on a gift for me to P.E.T.A. ~ which means People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals! YAY! We ended up donating $230. Aside from that a friend and I did a small car wash, and made $40 more dollars. Which concluded a GRAND TOTAL OF $270 dollars to P.E.T.A. That shows how much some dedication can do.

The Animals!!!

Why were animals made here? To be killed? i think not. Were they made to be cut open with a knife or swim for their lives from poison water gushing into their cage? Really you think they were, i don’t. I think they were made to show love and compassion for eachother. So why are we killing these almost defenceless creatures while they save us every day from depression, suicide, and anorexia. We don’t know they do, but just think. When you petted their soft fur, did you feel warm an cozy inside? When you put down their food and saw that innocent love stare, did you feel the compassion they have for you? If you did, you must know how much it means to not get killed and not to see that animal suffer while getting it’s throat pulled out or its skull removed, leading to, what’s the word? DEATH. So if you believe that, what some (most) people are doing wrong is horrible, donate (article below) or just go to stopanimaltests.com, and see what you can do to save this world from the cruelty that is overpowering our animals.

There are so many organizations that could use donations that would help stop animal testing and help stop global warming. Peta, people for the ethical treatment for animals, is a great organization to donate to. Peta has it’s own website which is under links called stopanimaltests.com. Go there and they have lots of donation ideas and ways to stop animal testing. You know a letter could save million of animals lives. Be kind and save a life.

Top vegetarian snacks

As part of being a vegetarian I thought it would be nice to tell you some good protein filled vegetarian snacks.

1. Nuts. Nuts are filled with protein and they have many different shapes and tastes. There is walnuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, and peanuts. There are way more but those are my favorites.

2. Cheese. I know. Cheese???? But if you find a kind you like they have really good protein. My favorites are pepper jack, jack, cheddar, American, provolone, Swiss, Havarti, goat cheese, and there is plenty more. Just find one you like. They are great snacks.

3. Fruit. Fruit is so good for you. If you don’t have it your body won’t work as well. And there is really no fruit in artificial fruit drinks, and fake lemonade as much as you want to believe. But fruit really is Delicious if you give it a chance.

4. Salad, my personal favorite. There is so many different kinds, it’s great. You can mix anything with anything and create your own masterpiece. Lower down on the blog it has my favorite salads.

5. Veggie dipping. You can dip any veggie (carrot, cucumber, celery, tomato, etc.) in any dip (ranch, thousand island, hummus, etc.) and it tastes Delicious. Give it a try. You wont regret it.

School Lunches

In elementary school I liked school lunches. They had decent meat, but then i didn’t know how bad the lunches really were. All of my 2.50 went to buy shoes for the soup and socks for the rice. No, just kidding, but really the lunches are full of horrible made meat and calories and sodium. Did you know some of the meat packing companies don’t have bathroom and are not sanitary enough to have water to clean their hands after. I really wouldn’t want my meat made from hands that touched you know what. The salad can be healthy but sometimes kids just have croutons and ranch and that isn’t right. They don’t even clean the containers the lettuce comes in. Sometimes if they get there late the lettuce isn’t even washed. I thought it was my duty to tell you a few facts about what your school lunches involve.
